The conference dinner will be held at the Oxford Town Hall, in the centre of Oxford on the evening of Tuesday 17th September. In the century since the Town Hall was first built the décor has remained authentic, and the hall treats us to the very latest in Victorian Britain fashion. This magnificent Grade 2 Listed Building not only continues to play a key role in the management, social and cultural life of residents and visitors but is also a versatile venue and home of the Museum of Oxford. It has seen royalty, protesters, murderers, and even the Rolling Stones. The former court still exists in the building, and for anyone misbehaving (or submitting their conference paper late!) there are cells down below.
The Town Hall is just a short walk from the conference centre, so we ask everyone to make their own way to the dinner.
The dinner is included in your IBIC 2013 registration fee so remember to sign up when you register.
