I’ve also been getting to know the other placement students who started in Diamond at the same time as me, and finding out about all the different projects they’re working on. The range of different science that goes on here and technology involved really is amazing. You’ll be glad to know that I’ve also started on some Project M work, sorting through and compiling various bits of data into the database that allows us to keep track of the samples. A well-organised database is crucial when you’re dealing with a large amount of data!
