Oral presentations will be held in Lecture theatres L1 & L2. Please see the conference schedule for details;
On-site technical support will be provided through out the conference, however we ask that you please adhere to the following guidelines;
• Computers onsite will be PC's running Window XP. Presentations should be in Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT), or PDF. Mac users who want to submit presentations must export their presentation as a MS PowerPoint file or save as pdf file.
• To ensure smooth running of the conference and good opportunity for discussion, oral presentations must keep to time. Discussion is therefore limited to 4 minutes for short (20 minute) presentations, and 5 minutes for longer presentations.

• One podium microphone
• One lapel microphone
• A wireless remote control with built in laser pointer slides will be available for all presenters to advance and reverse their slides during their presentation. The moderator will assist speakers with connecting to the wireless microphone and an AV Operator will run the audiovisual equipment.
Session Chairs
Each session will be facilitated by a session Chair who will be responsible for keeping speakers on time. Please plan to arrive at the session 10 minutes prior to the published start time and introduce yourself to the Chair. They will review the speaker timing method with you
Uploading your presention
A link will be sent to all speakers by the wk commencing 8th August and you are encouraged to upload presentations as early as possible but at latest 24hrs before you are due to make the presentation. Name the file with the programme code and presenter surname (for example Mon2NewSources&Optics_Cerenius.ppt) Speakers who are unable to upload their presentations by this point are asked to do so at least 2 hours before their session using the computer in the on-site Speaker Preparation room.
The Speaker Preparation Room will be C2 located next to the Registration and Conference office, and will be operational during the following hours:
Monday 15th 0800 - 1730
Tuesday 16th 0830 - 1730
Wednesday 17th 0830 - 1230
Thursday 18th 0830 - 1730
Friday 19th 0830 – 1100
