Diamond has a wide-range of world-class resources to support your MX experiment.
Beamlines: Our portfolio of MX beamlines suits different types of experiments. We constantly review, update and commission new capabilities to meet the on-going needs of our users.
Check our full specifications and guidance on our beamlines for the latest information.
Streamlined processing: Our streamlined processes help to speeds up experimental throughput. They enable you to combine and track information across diffracted samples, providing an overview of data quality and facilitating analysis. The Data Acquisition system (GDA) is an invaluable tool for data collection.
Software pipelines: Diamond's ISPyB software provides the perfect platform in which to review the output of your experiments, in one central location. Our auto-processing software pipeline enables processed data to be assessed within minutes, providing users with a rapid overview of collected data, to guide further data collection. A range of standard software for crystallographic analysis is available for our industrial MX users, providing you have the relevant user licences.
Expert support
Our MX experts are on hand to guide you throughout your experimental work to ensure you get the best results. If required, they can conduct both data collection and analysis on your behalf.
Training
Our team of experts can provide software training and beamline familiarisation ahead of your experimental session.
Our crystallisation services provide easy access to techniques for protein research. The Membrane Protein Lab (MPL) supports scientists interested in membrane protein biology, in particular membrane protein structural biology.
These crystallisation services are closely linked with services for Macromolecular crystallography (MX/PX) and Cryo-electron microscopy (eBIC), providing a complete pipeline for structural biology. Organisations interested in this service should contact the Industrial Liaison Team.
