The GlaciosTM Cryo-Transmission Electron Microscope (Cryo-TEM)
It features 200 kV X-FEG optics, the very latest FalconTM3EC direct electron detector, the industry-leading autoloader for cryogenic sample manipulation, and innovative automation for ease of use. It offers an ideal opportunity for sample screening and initial model building. This enables scientists to pre-screen samples on the GlaciosTM to find the best quality samples before advancing to the higher resolution imaging achievable using the KriosTM Cryo-TEM.
The KriosTM G3iTM is easier, faster and more reliable than ever before.
It provides a stable 300kV TEM platform and industry-leading autoloader, designed to optimise automated applications such as single particle analysis and cryo-tomography. Designed-in connectivity ensures a robust and risk-free pathway throughout the entire workflow, from sample preparation and optimisation to image acquisition and data processing.
The Vitrobot™ completely automates the vitrification process to provide fast, high-quality, easy and reproducible sample preparation. It provides precise but flexible control of all critical parameters in the plunge-freezing process.
Its touch screen interface is robust and easy to use, whilst sophisticated automation guarantees high quality, reproducible processing, and high sample throughput.
The enclosed process chamber allows careful control of environmental variables, such as temperature, and prevents the cooling and concentration artifacts often associated with ‘open space’ freezing methods.
The new coolant container includes an anti-contamination device and provides a more efficient post freeze handling path. The Vitrobot can improve the speed and quality of sample preparation in any application where colloidal structure is important.
