secure more funding to deliver not only our scientific ambitions but those of our 14,000 strong user community. Looking beyond 2024/25, securing our ten-year plan will be a huge challenge, but I would like to assure you that together with the Executive team and with full support of the Diamond Board, we are making the strongest case to seek additional funding from the UK government to maintain Diamond as a very competitive world-class facility that makes an impact for the UK research, technology and industry and that supports the UK national priorities and we have the full support of the Diamond Board in doing so. In closing, I feel extremely privileged to be at the helm of this organisation and very proud to be part of Team Diamond. Although I recognise that there are challenges for all of us, I am confident that the most exciting and impactful times for Diamond are yet to come.
