Izzy joined the industrial XChem team in September 2022 after finishing her undergraduate degree at the University of Sussex. During her degree she gained a solid understanding of protein preparation and macromolecular crystallography which led to the award of a first class MSci (Hons) in Biochemistry.

During her degree she also completed two summer internships at Evotec, Abingdon where she gained experience in insect expression of proteins.
