Keith is a postdoctoral researcher working in the area of computational biochemistry. His research centers on the application of multi-scale molecular simulation techniques to study structure-function relationships in diverse biomolecular systems, ranging from single molecules to large, membrane-bound complexes. He is especially interested in understanding sensory signal transduction in the transmembrane receptor complexes mediating bacterial chemotaxis, particularly through the combination of simulations and cryo-electron tomography data.
In 2017, Keith received his Ph.D. in Physics under the guidance of Prof. Klaus Schulten at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. From 2018-2022, he held a postdoctoral position in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Oxford and was jointly advised by Profs. Mark Sansom and Phill Stansfeld.
