David Zabeo

Davide’s background is molecular and cell biology, with a specialization in microbiology. He moved closer to structural biology and electron cryo-microscopy during his Ph.D. at the University of Gothenburg under Johanna Höög's supervision. His Ph.D. research focused on studying the structure of sperm flagella with electron cryo-tomography and sub-tomogram averaging.

After completing his Ph.D., he moved to the UK and joined eBIC at Diamond Light Source as an Electron Microscope Scientist in April 2021.
