Overview

We are excited to offer this opportunity for enthusiastic and eager prospective engineering technician apprentices to join us virtually for Diamond’s Apprenticeship Open Evenings. You’ll be given lots of information about the apprenticeships available as well as an insight into Diamond and the extraordinary science undertaken.

Our technicians and engineers are crucial in enabling the cutting edge science that takes place on site. Diamond’s uniqueness means that most equipment designed and built here is bespoke so we are able to provide varied, interesting experiences and opportunities you won’t find elsewhere. Join us to find out more about the UK’s only synchrotron where you could be working in the future and gain an insight into the type of work you could be undertaking with the opportunity to ask questions.

Programme

We are holding two open evenings on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 21st February, 5.30pm (GMT)
  • Thursday 23rd February, 5.30pm (GMT)

The event will last approximately 45 minutes and will be hosted by members of our apprenticeship management team. We will be delivering a presentation, sharing videos and giving the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
