Diamond Light Source has developed a set of Dialogue activities for use in the classroom or community.
These debates focus on the use of peer review and the criteria by which we judge science – how would you decide which experiments should be carried out?
We have a number of different packs setting up the students as a peer review panel and asking them which science they would research and perhaps more interestingly which they would not investigate. These packs investigate; environmental sciences, new materials, cultural heritage and health sciences.
If you wish to find out more about the debates please contact Amy Griffin amy.griffin@diamond.ac.uk
