What’s your professional background and how did you come to work at Diamond?
I’ve studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany. After completing my Diploma, I signed up as a research assistant at the same university working in the Microwave and Radiofrequency field.
What’s your professional background and how did you come to work at Diamond?
I studied chemistry at the University of Seville, in Spain. While studying for my degree, I had the opportunity to participate in an X-ray absorption experiment at the Daresbury Laboratory, with the professor that later would become my PhD supervisor, Dr. Adela Munoz-Paez.
Diamond Light Source is the UK's national synchrotron science facility, located at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire.
