This informative and hands-on event looks at the careers and opportunities in the field of computing and is aimed at KS3 students. Attendance is free and a tour of the Diamond synchrotron and lunch are provided. Teachers and careers advisors are also welcome.
What happens on the day?
The day is split into four sessions, each lasting 45 minutes. The sessions provide insights into different aspects of computing careers and will include workshops from Diamond/STFC engineers and external companies and a tour of Diamond.
Who can attend?
Numbers for this event are limited - a maximum of 20 students from each school can attend.

Please note that due to the age of the students at this event, we require no less than one teacher/responsible adult for every six students
