Email: alex.louat@diamond.ac.ukAlex Louat graduated in Physics from Universite Paris Sud XI, France in 2015. He received his PhD from the Universite Paris-Saclay in 2018, working on Sr2IrO4 using ARPES, NMR and µSR to understand the nature of the Mott insulator phase. After his PhD, he had a post-doc experience at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Alex joined Diamond on i05 in September 2021 as a postdoctoral research associate and plays an active role in the PhD/PDRA committee.
