Fragment-based screening is now well-established as a powerful approach to early drug ("lead") discovery.
Academic access
Calls for proposals are issued twice a year with deadlines of the first Wednesday in April and the first Wednesday in October (details here). Applications are made via the User Administration System (UAS).
Like all Diamond access, proposals are reviewed competitively by independent peer review (panel 11); our current capacity is 30-40 screens per year, though likely to increase.
For any questions, email Frank von Delft, the I04-1/XChem Principal Beamlines Scientist and Alice Douangamath.
Industrial Access
For proprietary access, email Alex Dias from the Industrial Liaison Office.
