Fragment-based screening is now well-established as a powerful approach to early drug ("lead") discovery.
Applications are made twice a years via the User Administration System (UAS). Calls for proposals are issued twice a year with deadlines of the first Wednesday in April and the first Wednesday in October (details here).
Like all Diamond access, proposals are reviewed competitively by independent peer review; our current capacity is 30-40 screens per year, though in future this is likely to increase.
General information about applying for Diamond facilities can be found here.
For any questions, email Frank von Delft, the I04-1/XChem Principal Beamlines Scientist.
For proprietary access, email Alex Dias from the Industrial Liaison Office.
