Johnson Matthey

Trung Dung Tran completed his PhD study (2007-2010) at the University of Birmingham where he did synthesis, modelling and particularly (S)TEM-based characterization of bimetallic nanoparticles. From 2011-2013, he focused more on (S)TEM-based characterization of catalysts when working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). During 2013-2016, he was a visiting researcher at Stockholm University where he continued doing (S)TEM and particularly worked on the atomic pair distribution functions (PDF) obtained from electron diffraction.
