Biography -

Yun obtained her Ph.D. in Biochemistry at University of Leicester under the supervision of Professor John W.R. Schwabe where she developed interests in X-ray crystallography and enzymology. 

Yun stayed on in Prof. Schwabe's lab for postdoc research and switched to SPA cryo-EM.

In 2019, Yun joined eBIC as a Senior Support Scientist, taking the lead in microED project at eBIC, and was promoted to Electron Microscope Scientist in August 2020.
