Data collection speed

Data collection speed is dependent on a number of factors such as hole size, magnification used and the corresponding number of movies collected per hole. With a standard AFIS data collection the more movies per stage movement that can be collected the faster the data acquisition rate will be.

Krios I, II, III and IV at eBIC have been upgraded with Fringe-free illumination, which increases data collection speeds as it allows more movies per hole, due to the reduced illumination sizes used, to be collected.
