Join our open evening to discover engineering technician and measurement scientist apprentices at Diamond Light Source.
We are excited to offer this opportunity for enthusiastic and eager prospective engineering technician and precision measurement technician apprentices to join us virtually for Diamond’s careers open evening. You’ll be given lots of information about the apprenticeships available as well as an insight into Diamond and the extraordinary science undertaken.
Our technicians and engineers are crucial in enabling the cutting edge science that takes place on site. Diamond’s uniqueness means that most equipment designed and built here is bespoke so we are able to provide varied, interesting experiences and opportunities you won’t find elsewhere. Join us to find out more about the UK’s only synchrotron where you could be working in the future and gain an insight into the type of work you could be undertaking with the opportunity to ask questions.
We are holding an additional open evening on the following date:
- Thursday, 17th February 2022 from 7:00-8:00pm UK time
The event will last approximately 45 minutes and will be hosted by members of our apprenticeship management team. We will be delivering a presentation, sharing videos and giving the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
