Phase III Beamline Workshop

A workshop at Diamond about the proposed Diamond Phase III beamline

Date
05/07/20112011-07-05
Location
Diamond Light Source, Oxfordshire, UK

The selection process for the final Diamond Phase III beamline is in progress. The Science Advisory Committee and Diamond directors have asked us to write a full proposal in September for DIAD, the Dual Imaging And Diffraction beamline.

To facilitate this, we are holding a workshop at Diamond on the proposed beamline on Tuesday July 5th 2011. Diamond will pay for the reasonable travel expenses of attendees up to £100. Claim forms will be available at the meeting. The meeting will initially be limited to 50 people.

Professor Stuart Stock from Northwestern U. has been invited to give an overview of the scientific opportunities that DIAD will offer. There will also be short presentations and discussion sessions to explore the science areas that will be enabled by the new beamline in order to help us to develop the information and support required for the full proposal.

For further information, contact Dr Alison Davenport.

In order to attend this meeting you must register below. Registration is free.
