Image

Applications for the 2023 Summer Placement scheme are now closed.

Applications for 2024 Summer Placements will open in early December 2023.

Register to Apply Login to your Application

When you are in the Portal, the vacancy that you are applying for is the "Summer Placements 2023" listing, and then once in, you have the opportunity to select up to three projects to apply for.

Therefore, before you apply, please read through the Project descriptions, and select up to three that you would like to apply for, as applications are combined in the portal. You will be asked some general questions about yourself, and have the opportunity to select a First, Second and Third choice of project.

Tips for your Application

  • Remember to make a note of the project reference number (e.g. 230**SP) from the bottom of the project page.
  • You can save your application as you work through it, and then log back in to complete it later, so you can develop your answers.
  • If you want to review your application, you can download a PDF of your answers from within our portal.
  • Make sure you remember to submit your completed application before 23:59 on Sunday 8 January 2023.
  • Interviews will take place on 6, 7, 8 and 9 February 2023.  Please ensure that you keep these dates available for interview.

Please note that all applications for the placements below need to be completed electronically within our e-recruitment platform. If you have a disability which means that you cannot complete the application within the e-recruitment platform or require reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process, please email diamond.students@diamond.ac.uk and include ‘Reasonable Adjustments’ in the title of your email.

If you are disabled and would like to be considered under the Disability Confident Scheme, please let us know via the online application process.

Important Information

Please note that these roles do not meet the required skill level for a Skilled Worker visa and therefore we would be unable to sponsor individuals due to the current UK Home Office immigration rules. To be appointed to the role, candidates will need to have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship from us.
