There is a change in access procedure whereby, starting 23rd February, all users will collect their access cards on arrival at Main Gate. This will speed up access to Diamond but please note that Users will not be allowed on-site without their access card.
For this to happen we need:
1. Notification form for the session
This lets us know who will be attached to the visit by either coming to Diamond, accessing the beamline remotely or accessing for data collection. All users need to safety trained prior to submission of this form and it must be done at least five working days prior to a session start date.
2. Experimental Risk Assessment
The risk assessment consists of identifying the samples and equipment which are being brought to site plus the processes which are being undertaken. Confirmation of samples/equipment being brought to a session must be done at least three weeks prior to a session start date.
