As Diamond does not have a dedicated travel office, Diamond Panel members are kindly asked to organise their own travel, the cost of which will be reimbursed.
Transport can be arranged from and to an airport and also from and to Didcot Parkway railway station.
Since June 2017 it has become possible to claim for peer review panel expenses using Exclaims. Please navigate to https://speakers.diamond.ac.uk and input your contact information. Under 'Event Reference Number' please can you select Peer Review (which is near the bottom of the list). Once you have completed your banking details click next and you can enter your travel costs and upload any necessary receipts. Once the claim is submitted this will come through to us for authorisation and payment.
This system is very like our claims system for user visits with one key difference – there is no option to edit the claim if there is an error. In that instance we can decline the claim and start again from scratch.

If the cost of travel has been made directly by your organisation, please ask them to send an invoice to the User Office; this is because we cannot pay third parties.
Please note - we will only reimburse expenses claimed within 3 months of the meeting.
The Starter Checklist must be completed as the honorarium is processed through Diamond Payroll with the tax deducted by us. The form needs to be completed once only, unless details change.
Completed forms should be sent to the User Office.
Please note that this is required for all new members, but only if they wish to claim.
