Diamond is my first professional job. I graduated from Bangor University with a 1st class Meng in computer systems engineering, and started at Diamond in the same year. I hadn't heard of a synchrotron until I came across an advert for Diamond on a job website, and when I looked it up I really wanted to work here. The advertised role was a senior position, but I thought I would apply anyway and then they would have my CV. They created a role for me that they had been thinking about before.Read more...
