Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System: EPICS

EPICS is a set of software tools, libraries and applications developed collaboratively and used worldwide to create distributed soft real-time control systems for scientific instruments such as a particle accelerators, telescopes and other large scientific experiments.

The Spring EPICS Collaboration Meeting 2003 was hosted by Diamond Light Source at The Cosener's House, Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Further details about this meeting are available online.
