Inside Diamond open days.
Following on from a large public open weekend attracting 6,000 visitors in 2007, we now hold quarterly events for up to 250 visitors aimed at the general public and where youngsters are very welcome to attend.

Education Inside Diamond days (A-level or equivalent students)
Diamond supports students by hosting twice yearly visits for post GCSE science/engineering students. A trip would include a talk and a tour around the Diamond Light Source facility as well as a chance to meet and question our scientists and engineers.

Machine Simulations
Diamond have worked with the Virtual Physical Laboratory to develop simulations and supporting worksheets explaining the Diamond machine for use in classrooms.

Particle Physics Masterclasses
Diamond welcomes every year the STFC's Particle Physics Masterclasses involving 300 secondary school pupils.

The facility has a number of Science and Engineering Ambassadors (SEAs) who undertake outreach activities like career talks in schools etc.
