Membrane Protein Laboratory | Scientific Advisory Board

The work of the MPL is supervised by the MPL Scientific Advisory board. This group of eminent scientists oversees the activities of the MPL and reviews applications by potential MPL visitors. The Board members include: 

  • Prof. Neil Isaacs,The Joseph Black Chair of Protein Crystallography at Glasgow University and Director of the Membrane Protein Structure Initiative.
  • Prof. Peter Henderson, Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology, Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Leeds.
  • Dr. Rob Cooke, GlaxoSmithKline
  • Dr. Claire Braybrook, Science Programme officer at the Wellcome Trust.
  • Prof. So Iwata, MPL Director,  Imperial College London
  • Prof. Dame Louise Johnson, Diamond Light Source
