If the proposal has been successful, the Principal Investigator will be encouraged to contact the Principal Beamline Scientist if they feel that a preliminary visit to Diamond would be beneficial.  In such circumstances, Diamond will meet the cost of travel and subsistence for one person only for any preliminary visits.
