Each year the technical division will produce a schedule for the synchrotron which will include time for shut-downs for maintenance and upgrade of the storage ring and beamlines as well as operational beamtime.  During the latter we will offer beamtime 24 hours a day, 6 days a week.  One day each week will be dedicated to machine studies and maintenance.

Beamtime will be distributed as follows:

1. In steady state 80% of beamtime will be available to external users.

2. 20% beamline development and in-house research.

Industrial users will have a maximum of 10% of the beamtime allocated to external users with only 30% available per beamline.
