User Satisfaction Questionnaire

The User Questionnaire helps Diamond to make improvements to site facilities and information regarding the administration process. Information is collated at the end of each allocation period and used to ensure that improvements are made in those areas that are deemed unsatisfactory.    

End of Experiment Form (for Team Leader)

The end of experiment form  must be completed by the team leader at the end of each experiment. Information from these forms is collated and discussed at a meeting of all Principal Beamline Scientists, Support Group Leaders and Science Directors. All problems that have arisen during a run are discussed and plans are drawn up to improve performance. All comments arising from aspects of the experiment that were judged by users to be poor or very poor will result in a written response from Diamond. The statistics that accrue from the End of Experiment forms are presented to the Scientific Advisory Board, the Diamond User Committee and the Diamond Board.

 
Comments made by Users on the End of Experiment form are a confidential matter between a User and Diamond Light Source. The Peer Review Panel does not have access to the End of Experiment Forms and comments made on these forms have absolutely no influence upon subsequent allocation of beamtime.
