The workshop will aim to bring together experimentalists and theorists working in the field of RIXS and REXS in both soft and hard x-ray regimes.

Overview

RIXS/REXS is a serial workshop supported by IFW Dresden, The Paul Scherrer Institute and The Taiwan Light Source.  The 2018 edition is a satellite workshop of SRI 2018 (International Conference on Synchrotron Radiation Instrumentation Conference) and will be hosted and organised by Diamond Light Source from the 25th – 27th June at Diamond House, Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, Didcot, UK.

The Scientific programme of the workshop will cover the areas of transition metal oxides, cuprates, iron-based superconductors, rare-earth systems, strong spin-orbit coupled systems, as well as the latest development of RIXS at both synchrotron light sources and free electron laser facilities.

Programme

The workshop will begin on Monday 25th June at 09:30.  Registration will commence from 09:00. 
The Poster session is scheduled for Monday 25th and a workshop dinner will take place at Cosener's House on Tuesday 26th May.  The workshop will close with lunch on Wednesday 27th June.

Abstract Submission and Registration

Delegates are invited to submit abstracts for talks and poster presentations.

All contributions and registrations to RIXS REXS 2018 will be managed via the Diamond Event Management system, which can be accessed here - Abstract Submission and Registration
Once logged in to the system you can answer the premilinary registration questions and upload your abstract. Registration can be completed and payment made at any time.

 
The deadline for oral submissions is the 26th April. Decisions will be issued by the 4th May.

The final date for registration will be 5th June 2018.
