eBIC is proud to announce its inaugural symposium on April 24, 2017. The opening symposium will highlight the advances of cryoEM and feature presentations with an emphasis on emerging and challenging technologies. eBIC is part of Diamond Light Source, the UK's national synchrotron light source, and provides access to cutting-edge cryoEM technologies, expertise and training, as well as lead research and development in cryoEM methodologies.

In conjuction with eBIC's opening event, Diamond will also host CCP-EM's third annual Spring Symposium on the 25th & 26th April.

A perfect compliment event to the eBIC opening symposium it will provide a forum to highlight state of the art developments in computational cryoEM and showcase outstanding applications.

Poster Session

The eBIC opening event will hold a small poster session which will offer two successful winners the prize of 48hrs data collection on a Titan Krios at eBIC!

Submissions will be subject to a selection process. To have a submission considered, please provide your poster title during registration and ensure you send an abstract under separate cover to events@diamond.ac.uk by March 20th.

Applicants will be contacted by 3rd April if their poster has been selected for display at the poster session(on the 24th April). Posters should report current research / results (i.e. not project proposal).
