Event Details

On the 10th and 11th March 2016, Diamond Light Source (DLS) will host a workshop dedicated to Energy Dispersive X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (EDE). Applications of the EDE technique in fields such as catalysis, electrochemistry, high pressure and pump-probe spectroscopy will be showcased. The capabilities of the new I20-EDE beamline will be highlighted, in particular in the fields of Time-Resolved X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy and High Pressure research. This workshop aims to bring together experts in the field and new users of the technique and there will be time to discuss potential applications.

Registration

This is a free workshop but all delegates must register to attend. Registration is limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Diamond will provide lunch and refreshments during the day on the 10th & 11th, and dinner on the 10th.  Attendees will be responsible for their own travel and any accommodation costs.  Details on local accommodation can be found here.
