The annual Diamond SR User Meeting for 2014
This year's keynote speech was given by Professor John Spence. The slides are available to download here.
John is Director of Science for the National Science Foundation (NSF) “BioXFEL” Science and Technology Center for application of X-ray lasers to structural biology (a seven campus consortium funded in 2013). His talk reviewed the lastest developments in single-particle imaging, serial nanocrystallography and snapshot solution scattering at the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS), Stanford, California, with the long term aim of making a movie of molecular machines at work.
