Beamlines | I19 - Design specifications

Beamline schematic

Energy range: 5* to 25 keV
0.5 to 2.5* Å
Energy resolution (ΔE/E):  < 2 x 10-4
Energy stability (ΔE/E): < 4 x 10-5
Flux @ 12.4 keV at sample 10-4 bandpass: 1012 ph/s in 100 μm x 100 μm
Beam minimum size at sample position 1 (FWHM): 50 μm x 50 μm
Beam minimum size at sample position 2 (FWHM): 100 μm x 100 μm
Beam divergence @18 keV at sample: < 400 μrad (h) x 50 μrad (v)

* the very low energies in this range are dependent on a 5 mm undulator gap being achieved
