The beamline is controlled through the Generic Data Acquisition (GDA) software, which has been co-developed by DLS and STFC scientists to operate all Diamond's beamlines.

The beamline has both DL-Excurve and FEFF available locally to process EXAFS data, while standard packages will be available for data reduction and for tomography reconstruction. XRF files can be analysed in the ESRF program PyMCA.

XANES mapping for small regions is now feasible, we are working on simple software ways of reconstructing the absorption data from the series of XRF maps recorded around an absorption edge.
