Current Status

On-site acceptance test of the cryostat showed that it meets its specifications. A test run with Kapton windows showed that temperatures of the order of 70K can be reached.

All mechanical parts are now manufactured and the DAC can be attached to the cold head. In these days we will:

• assemble in-situ pressure change mechanism
• determine the cryostat performance with pressure cell and drive-rods attached
• modify the mounting adaptor for cell (improve thermal path)
• evaluate options of optical access for pressure measurement
