Support laboratory space dedicated to the I11 beamline allows visiting researchers to prepare for their experiment. Facilities are available in the laboratory for general sample preparation and handling, including:

• Fume hood
• Agate pestle and mortars
• Stirrer Hotplates
• Vacuum Desiccators
• pH/mV/°C meters
• Balances (mg-g)
• General glassware and equipment

More advanced chemical synthesis are possible using the equipment in the central chemistry laboratory (Labs 10 and 11, Zone 2).
