NanoDrop® ND-1000 Spectrophotometer
This is a full-spectrum spectrophotometer (UV and visible spectrum, 220-750 nm) for measuring the absorbance of DNA, RNA, proteins and dyes this allowing for measurement of small samples volumes.
Sample measurements are possible over a wide range of concentrations: -
• Double-stranded (ds) DNA: 2-3700 ng/µl
• Single-stranded (ss) DNA: ≤ 2400 ng/µl
• RNA: ≤3000 ng/µl
• Protein: 0.10-100 mg/ml BSA (at 280 nm)

LABRAM HR Band - 0.3cm-1 - 1cm-1
Measurements at high, medium or even low spectral resolution. The high resolution mode is used for subtle band analysis such as:
• Phase (crystalline/amorphous), of proteins,
• Hydrogen and weak bonding forces and
• Semiconductor stress measurements
Band analysis in the order of 0.3 cm-1 to 1 cm-1 is particularly suited to the HR mode.
This high resolution system offers: -
• High, medium and low resolution multichannel spectral modes.
• Fluorescence and luminescence measurements.
• True confocality - maximum spatial resolution and better defined images.
• Multiple laser capability, from visible to near IR (specially extended NIR and UV versions).
• Focal lengths of 300mm
• Broad laser source
• Multiple detection options
• Near-IR detection is useful for luminescence measurements (eg. for semiconductor materials) and analysis with either 830 nm or 1064 nm excitation.
