We are looking to develop our building services control section within the Installation & Facilities Management Group. A Senior Building Control Engineer is required together with the appointment of either a Building Controls Engineer or Technician to support the Senior Building Controls Engineer; these appointments being made based on qualifications and experience of the candidate.
The posts are staff based and working directly for the client, to provide the successful delivery of Building Controls support for the main building services and associated process systems.

Senior Building Controls Engineer

A Senior Building Controls Engineer to deliver and co-ordinate the continued consolidation, expansion and ongoing upgrade of our extensive Siemens Desigo Insight based Building Management System (BMS) which provides the control and automation of the majority of our HVAC/building services installations.

The provision of Senior Building controls management to the Diamond estate for the main BMS and standalone control sub systems and leadership of the in house and specialist contractor teams.

You will possess an HNC or degree in a relevant discipline and have significant experience of design/commissioning/ operational management of BMS. You will have good communication and project management skills.

A Building Controls Technician to provide support the Senior Building Controls Engineer.

The role covers all elements of building services controls to undertake the day to day operation and maintenance of both the Building Management System (BMS) and standalone building control systems. To witness/participate in the testing and commissioning of BMS and standalone building controls systems.

You will have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent in a relevant discipline and have experience of commissioning/operations of BMS. You will have good communication skills.
