Nikul Khunti is the Beamline Scientist on solution state SAXS beamline B21. Nikul completed his MRes in Structural Biology at Portsmouth University. After completing a summer internship at Diamond on VMXi (formerly I02),  Nikul joined Diamond in 2015 as a support scientist on B21. He pioneered the mail-in system at B21, allowing greater access to many users around the world. His main interests are based on 3D printing and design for sample environment development. He designed and developed the current mail-in holder which has now been mass produced. Moreover, he contributed significantly to the design of the multi-purpose sample cell holder, greatly expanding B21’s experimental capability.
