It is no longer necessary to have a specific file provided by the beamline in order to process your data using XDS. Instead the XDS team provide a script to do this: generate_XDS.inp. This will use information from the image headers to provide the most up accurate .inp file for your data.
Please click here to go to the wiki page about this tool.
*** Diamond no longer supports HKL2000 (since 2012). ***
The def files we do have can be accessed from the links below. Please update the beam centre in the file with that found in the relevant image header.
If you have an HKL License, please contact HKL for up-to-date definition files.
I24 now has a vertical goniomenter. When you have the .inp file from generate_XDS.inp you will need to change:
ROTATION_AXIS= 1 0 0
ROTATION_AXIS= 0 –1 0
