This is the first user call for I23. The beamline has been added relatively late to this call, therefore we have added a few instructions below to assist you with your application. If you are a member of a Block Allocation Group (BAG), please discuss with your BAG PI to apply for I23 as part of the BAG proposal. If not, please read below. For further discussions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
There are still outstanding aspects like the access to the dedicated I23 sample holders. We expect to have the logistics on how to source them by the end of this year, well ahead of the beamtime to be awarded from April 2018.
Please also take your time and read the beamline paper (doi.org/10.1107/S2059798316001078). It will give you more information about sample mounting and transfer into vacuum.
