Anomalous Data Collection

To optimize MAD or SAD data collection 2 options are available in GDA:   

 

Overview

Due to complexities with the h5 file format, we are currently unable to offer inverse beam SAD or wedged MAD techniques on I03 and I04.

An alternative (and more efficient) approach on these beamlines is to use the multi axis capabilities of the Smargon to align along an axis and collect your anomalous pairs on the same image.
